At Teays Valley Engineering (TVE), we are dedicated to providing top-notch engineering solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients across various industries. Who We Are
Located near Charleston, West Virginia, Teays Valley Engineering is a privately owned engineering firm registered with the WV State Board of Professional Engineers and Surveyors (COA C03351-00). We hold Professional Engineer (P.E.) registrations across multiple states, including West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Florida, Michigan, Mississippi, Louisiana, New York, Texas, California, and Virginia.
Our team consists of 26 dedicated employees, bringing together over 250 years of combined experience in the natural gas industry and beyond. In 2019, we merged with our sister company, Raptor Energy Systems, to offer a broader range of services under the TVE name.

Our offerings include site design, cable and conduit calculations, short circuit studies, arc flash studies, load flow analysis, breaker coordination, grounding, interior/exterior lighting design and cable tray design. We also specialize in lighting design and controls, MCCs, switchgear, panelboards, DC UPS, solar chargers, and backup generator sizing to ensure reliable and efficient power distribution.
Electrical Contracting
Teays Valley Engineering offers comprehensive electrical contracting services to support your project needs. Our expertise includes electric device installation, trenching, conduit bending and routing, wire pulling, grounding, backup generator installation, solar installation, fiber optic panel installation, and fiber optic cable installation. We ensure that all installations are performed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Building Fabrication
Teays Valley Engineering provides custom building fabrication services to meet your specific needs. We specialize in Parkline buildings, Permatherm buildings (SIPS), gas analysis buildings, MCC buildings, open air covered structures, hazardous area classification, custom building design, and E-house integration. Our buildings are designed to be durable, efficient, and compliant with industry standards.
Panel Fabrication
Our panel fabrication services are designed to deliver custom solutions for various applications. We create and build RTU panels, PLC panels, ESD panels, compressor and pump controls, communication panels, fiber and networking panels, lighting control panels, heat trace panels, battery backup panels, gas measurement panels, and automation control panels. Each panel is meticulously crafted to meet the specific requirements of our clients.
Field Services
Our field services are designed to support on-site operations and ensure seamless project execution. We provide site commissioning, device commissioning, instrument commissioning, PLC installation, RTU installation, HMI installation, site startup, analyzer installation, instrumentation installation, instrument calibration, communications installation, networking installation, radio, cellular, and satellite installation, remote power backup, standby generator installation, solar power installation, UPS installation, and corrosion monitoring.
